Evening of Achdut FAQs

Is this “the dinner”?
In short – yes! This is a feel-good, fun community dinner meant to celebrate BPY’s teachers, staff, parents, and leadership who collectively enable BPY to be the enriching, nurturing, and innovative educational community that it is.

Will there be food?
Yes, a delicious “indoor BBQ,” including vegetarian options, will be served, thanks to our partnership with Five Star Caterers.

Do I need to pay to come?
No, all we need is your RSVP! This is a completely free, social evening out for BPY parents and staff, and there is no additional fee to attend. We will be unveiling an Online Journal shortly before the event, in which you can make a donation at any level, and a personal message to staff and/or our award recipients can be shared for a minimum donation. All donations at any level are deeply appreciated and support the Achdut Annual Campaign, which directly funds our educational programming, tuition assistance to families in need, and curricular enhancements.

What is the Online Journal?
The Online Journal will be a digital journal that shares personal messages of appreciation to our amazing staff and/or congratulations to our esteemed leadership award recipients, Gila and Michael Harary and Jamie and Asher Toporovsky. If you wish to reserve your journal message, make a donation, and/or RSVP, please fill out our response form HERE.

Why do you need to know if I am planning to come?
We need to know your plans so that we can plan appropriately for the right number of guests. Please help our volunteer planning committee by making sure you let us know your plans before the March 1st deadline. Unfortunately, if you do not RSVP, you won’t be able to attend. Please RSVP now by clicking HERE.

I want to help – how can I volunteer?
Please email pto@benporatyosef.org and offer your assistance!

I still have questions – who do I contact?
Contact Rachel Weiss or Tova Small in the development office at development@benporatyosef.org or 201-845-5007 x35 or x21.

We look forward to seeing you and having a fabulous time together on March 14!
